Dog for adoption
Some time back a family drove into Malcolm Baug at Jogeshwari in Bombay and heartlessly abandoned a cute black dog, seemingly of mixed breed, reversed their car and sped away. The dog, about a year-and-a-half old, has a collar with small bells around his neck, and is in a daze at being suddenly abandoned by his family in a strange place. Also, the already established stray dog population in our Baug is giving him a really hard time.
We residents provide the dog with food and water but are unable to welcome the poor fellow inside our compounds or homes as we all have dogs of our own who try to attack him because they feel insecure about the new arrival. We call the dog Blackie and he comes running with the bells around his neck jingling away (as if Santa Claus is passing by on his reindeer driven sleigh at Christmas time).

Heartlessly abandoned, Blackie needs a home
Ideally, I would like this cute dog to be adopted by a family of animal lovers. I request dog lovers who read this to please contact me on 26790182 if they are willing to adopt him, provided they are prepared to treat him as a family member and look after him as long as he lives. He would also be an ideal pet to have at a holiday home in Lonavla, Alibaug or wherever. I trust this cute doggie will soon find a suitable home with a loving family.
