BPP election dates?

A tentative schedule for the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) elections has been set, barring any adverse decision from the courts.

The Jam-e-Jamshed Weekly of September 2, 2007 has published the following tentative dates:

Last date for enrollment for both the general and the donors register: October 1, 2007; last date for filing of nominations for the elections: October 31, 2007; last date for withdrawal of nominations: November 12, 2007 and last date for collecting original and/or duplicate certificates: November 28, 2007.

Elections will be held on four different days at four centers in Bombay: Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Sir J. J. School, Fort; Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Khareghat Colony; Saturday, December 8, 2007 at J. B. Vacha School, Dadar and December 9, 2007 at Bharucha Baug, Andheri.

Official confirmation of the schedule will only be made once the courts grant the dates and reject any motions to stay the process.
