Liaison Committee appeal

The Liaison Committee for Organisation of Parsi Charities and Social Services is a family and children’s welfare agency rendering services in the field of health, education welfare and family support since 1950.

The Liaison Committee receives referrals from different trusts. These cases are scree­ned to determine the socioeconomic and family needs. Screening of the cases is a specialized professional technique and it is necessary that the community and the trusts be made aware of "centralization” so as to avoid duplication of trust donor money to same recipients. Dependency should not be encouraged and we need to assist the recipients to "help themselves.”

Very often donors look forward to sharing and caring but they do not know where to turn. We would like the charity trusts and private donors to consult us before giving any charity support privately.

We have a small work-center where we have sewing work and sale of sudrehs and pyjamas, kustis, dusters, etc. Please contact us for your order.

We organize children’s activities like holiday camps, New Year functions, winter outings, distribution of exercise books/stationery, gift packets, counseling services for parents and children.

On the auspicious occasion of the Parsi New Year, contributions are solicited to help the poor and needy of the community.
