Accountability essay

The Forum of Free Enterprise has announced its 49th all-India essay competition for college students. The subject for the competition is "Public Accountability.” The competition is supported by Jyoti Limited, Vadodara, with a view to encouraging students to think and write on important economic subjects.

The competition is open to full-time degree students as also full-time management students all over the country and the last date for receiving entries is October 31, 2005. The best entries will be awarded cash prizes.

The judges are: Wing Commander Vijay Mahajan, chief executive officer, Bombay First, Arnavaz Mama, managing editor, Parsiana and Narayan K. Varma, chartered accountant and a past president of Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.
