Change in periodicity

Parsiana has announced an increase in frequency from 12 issues to 24 in a year with no increase in subscription rates for existing subscribers till their respective subscription periods are valid.

Whilst this move is welcome, we have to wait and watch how the new system develops.

If I am not mistaken, Parsiana, since its inception in 1964, has been a monthly magazine. With the proposed change, would the magazine be termed as a fortnightly publication?

It would be termed a semimonthly. A fortnightly implies 26 issues a year. We would be publishing 24. For some years in between Parsiana was a bimonthly (once in two months).
