WAPIZ launch

The orthodox sponsored and backed world body of individuals, the World Association of Parsee Irani Zoroastrians (WAPIZ) is to be launched on May 28, 2005 at Bombay’s Turf Club grounds. "Over 2,000 guests are expected for a gala dinner and many tub-thumping speeches by the orthodox,” states The Bombay Samachar Parsi Tari Arsi columinist Berjis Desai on May 8, 2005. "Daglis and garas is the dress code... If you are invited, you must attend for we are told that the food is going to be out of the world and includes intelligence-ni-Akuri and Paranoia-no-Patio laced with a lot of vitrioli melodrama,” he adds.
