Lionising the Parsis?

Zarvan Patvi (from Surat representing Solapur): "When a non-Parsi friend asked ‘Why is your population so low?’ I first avoided answering. But when he kept asking I told him ‘Have you been to the Gir forest? The population of lions is also very low, just like the Parsi population.”

Adil Nargolwala (DPA): "When did anyone last go to Gir? The lions are decrepit and moth-eaten. Do you want Parsis also to live like the lions who are found only in Gir?”
