A taste for soccer

Soccer star Shahryar Shroff was selected Athlete of the Week by the Home News Tribune, states a press release forwarded to Parsiana by his grandparents Nergish and Dadi Mistry of Delhi. All the sports writers get together to compare notes on the various teams and players and select the best performer for the week, notes the write-up.
A keen footballer who had won trophies for his G. D. Goenka School in Delhi, Shroff joined the eighth grade of the Colonia High School and the recreational soccer team of Colonia, New Jersey when he arrived there with his parents Armeen and Margarita and his brothers Maneck and Meherab in 1999.
Nicknamed Shao, Shroff is the striker and highest scorer in his team. Selected in the Varsity team, Shroff coaches under Paul Liddy. An honor roll student he loves to sing, plays the guitar and has scored some wins in his school talent show, mentions the press release.
