Bilimoria represents UK

Visionary beer brewer and entrepreneur extraordinary, London based Karan Bil-imoria has been appointed the new British co-chairman of the 10-year-old Indo-British Partnership which aims to raise awareness of mutual trade and investment opportunities in the two countries. He succeeds David Jefferies in the role.

Bilimoria: chairs Indo-British Partnership

The announcement was made by British MP and minister of state for international trade, investment and foreign affairs Mike O’Brien, notes The Afternoon Despatch and Courier (July 15, 2003). The Partnership, established to promote the public and private sectors in both countries, offers support and advice to companies and seeks to remove obstacles to trade and investment.
The outstanding success of his Cobra Beer and General Bilimoria Wines [named after his father Lt Gen (retd) Faridoon Bilimoria] plus Bilimoria’s own involvement in local community development (see "Cobra’s cheer,” Parsiana, November 2002) had resulted in Bilimoria becoming the first Zarathushti to be named Asian of the Year in December 2002 (Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, February 2003).
