Bodywork booster

Life has strange ways of pushing us in certain directions. I have a Master’s degree in microbiology and for most of my professional life was a research chemist and development officer with Tata Oil Mills.
However, I did not find the work fulfilling and started to look elsewhere for the joy and adventure that I wanted in my life. I started attending classes offered by my cousin, Behram Ghista, a highly accomplished yoga and meditation teacher.
Inspired by his example, I gave up the security of my job and began to explore alternative ways in which I could live a more enriching and meaningful life. My search led me to explore various teachings in different parts of India.
One of these is bodywork, as taught by Dr Paula Horan, a famous Reiki teacher and a gifted body-mind therapist, who teaches bodywork as a way to experience inner and outer harmony by releasing the unresolved issues within us.
I am now a qualified and passionate practitioner of bodywork, and thoroughly enjoy bringing joy, healing and light into the lives of others.
Massage and bodywork are wonderful ways to touch our body and mind deeply, and release the stress and tension of daily living. When certain points on the body are stimulated skillfully, unexpressed emotions are released, leading to a tremendous freeing of the psyche. The benefits of regular massage include improved blood circulation, toning of the body, mental clarity and a refreshing, vibrant and energized feeling.
Last, but not the least, our relationships are enriched greatly when we let go of the unwholesome emotions in our lives and create space for the wholesome ones to take root within us.
