Drama in her blood

Young Nazneen Contractor’s rendition of Marina in Shakespeare’s The Adventures of Pericles at the 2003 Stratford Festival of Canada was hailed by the Toronto Star critic as "The most stunning debut (he) could ever recall,” writes Roshan Davar in a message to Parsiana. The entire performance of the play was given a five-star rating. Her other performances at the Festival were in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Quiet in the Land, adds Davar.
