Silent stalwart

The city of Bombay lost another religious stalwart Curset M. Patel on September 11, 2002.

He used to publish a religious magazine on behalf of the Dini Avaz committee. I was first introduced to this great religious writer as "Khatli” at a family get-together some years back. A sober, handsome man with a smart French beard I knew that he was working in a bank as an officer but I was not aware that his real name was Curset Patel and he was the same unassuming person who used to write beautiful religious articles. He was indeed a very dedicated person doing his duty silently for his religion.
