‘Dogged relief’ addendum

With a view to providing a good home to stray unwanted dogs versus pedigreed animals, Phiroze H. Irani of Dahanu who owned five canines requested his nephew Farzan B. Mazda to obtain a stray puppy for him (see "Dogged relief,” Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, November 2001). The nephew obtained a pup (subsequently christened Tom) through the good office of Daisy Sidhva working for The Welfare of Stray Dogs, Bombay. Parsiana carries a photo of the proud owner and his new pet.
