Surat’s education initiative

Approximately 120 Zoroastrian children in Surat received books and stationery from the Parsi Pragati Mandal on June 15, 2025 at the Nariman Parsi Zoroastrian Girls’ Orphanage premises, notes an email received from Daizy Patel.

Members, donors and beneficiaries of Surat’s Parsi Pragati Mandal

The Mandal thanked the Surat Parsi Panchayat for use of the premises and the donors, Noshir Wadia, Monaz and Burzin Parekh. This initiative supports the educational needs of the community’s youngsters, fostering their growth and development. The Parsi Pragati Mandal’s team, along with the superintendent of the Girls’ Orphanage and volunteers who worked dedicatedly in empowering the community through education, were also thanked.
