In the Parsiana Book f Iranian Names, under "Boy,” the name Noshirwan is listed and its meaning given.

My name is Nawshir, and decades ago my parents had told me that it is a short form of Anusherevan, which means "one who is immortal because his soul is one that is endless, and therefore cannot die.”
