“Bouquet of minorities”
"I try to gather as many people from the minority communities regardless of their background. Some of the people I know and some I don’t. The purpose of this lunch is to get together with old friends and make new,” wrote Isphanyar Bhandara, chief executive of Murree Brewery in Rawalpindi and former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan who played host to over 250 representatives from the Parsi, Sikh, Hindu, Christian, Baha’i, Buddhist, Kalashi community of Chitral Valley as also scheduled castes at his residence on December 3, 2022. Among the main guests was Cardinal Joseph Coutts.

"This get-together was a reassurance of our mutual commitment, respect and tolerance towards each other,” stated Bhandara who organizes this function every winter and invites the media "to showcase the beautiful bouquet of minorities.” The event received coverage in the Islamabad Post, Business Recorder, Daily Times and Pakistan Observer. Welcoming the guests to the lavish luncheon, Bhandara stressed "The role of the minority communities in the creation and development of Pakistan is unforgettable… The minorities are of no less value vis-à-vis the majority Muslims… In the future they will continue to play a role in the country’s development.”
The lunch part "makes the occasion more enjoyable,” candidly expressed Bhandara.
