Kayaan Anklesaria, a cancer survivor and his team mates, who were among the 14 who represented India at the World Children Winners’ Games 2017 in Moscow, were felicitated at the event. Anklesaria, who was declared champion of the meet, won a gold medal for table tennis, silver for chess and two bronzes for rifle shooting and football.
The Foundation aims at promoting togetherness and camaraderie within community youngsters aged between five and 15 years. Hoshaang Gotla, founder of the Foundation told Parsiana on November 21 that "we wanted to make a difference… We ensured the youngsters learnt a new dance and rehearsed together for over 50 days which helped them bond and train together.” The dances were themed around The Independence Struggle, Indian Monarchy, Weddings of India and Seasons of India, among others.
