“A Dahanu digest”
The moment I was informed that I had been mentioned in an article on the Zoroastrians of Dahanu by Farzan Mazda (Parsiana, March 7, 2016) I was eager to lay my hands on the first copy of the Navroz edition of my favorite magazine!
I was amazed at the clarity of Mazda’s humor in identifying so aptly each king-sized character and bringing them to life (including me!) in his own inimitable way! We Dahanuwallas are so to say related to everybody he has mentioned, along with their individual characteristics, with so much humor that I almost fell out of my chair laughing at some punchy one-liners!
I thank Mazda for bringing back fond memories and reminding us in Dahanu that the Zoroastrians of this small but well placed town are simple but sure to have their unique characteristics.
