“Nurtured in Navsari”

In "Nurtured in Navsari” (Parsiana, October 21, 2015) about the Navsari Atash Behram’s 250th salgirah celebrations, it has been mentioned: "‘Everyone in the community has a Navsari connection,’ stated Peer, quoting Kavi Ardeshir Khabardar’s couplet: ‘Jya jya vasé Parsi, tya vasé Navsari (wherever resides a Parsi, with him dwells Navsari).’”
This should have read as "Peer quoted Kavi Ardeshir Khabardar’s famous couplet ‘Jya jya vasé ék Gujarati, tya tya vasé Gujarat (wherever resides a Gujarati, there dwells Gujarat).’ On the basis of this couplet, taking into account the historic evidence of almost everyone in the community having a Navsari connection, Peer then presented his own couplet in the form of ‘Jya jya vasé ék Parsi, tya tya vasé Navsari.’”
