Shortcomings: Not receiving issues by regular post hence the option to receive them by courier is expensive. For regular outstation customers you must send copies by courier so that they reach safely, or give option for subscribing for more than one year or more and send by courier free of charge.

The editors reply:
The cost of couriering a 40-page issue of Parsiana to Gujarat is Rs 35. The special postage charge for despatching the magazine on a pre-fixed date is only 50 paise. Hence it is not possible for us to bear the charges. Only around 20% of our income comes from subscriptions. Advertising, sponsorships and donations subsidize the subscriptions.
