“Musical melodies”

In the report of the CD release function ("Musical melodies,” Events and Personalities, Parsiana, August 21, 2014) it is mentioned that N. M. Wadia Charities manages the N. M. Wadia Library of Music. The N. M. Wadia Library of Music is at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and was funded by N. M. Wadia Charities.
In the tribute to the late Bejon Desai where the names of some of the alumni of Boys’ Town school are mentioned, Parvez Jamasji is referred to as lieutenant. This is incorrect. He was a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force who was awarded the Vir Chakra for flying hundreds of sorties and receiving a bullet injury in his leg during the Indo Pak War of 1971. MARZBAN GIARA
