Cyrus Daruwala: getting a competitive edge

In response to email queries, 16-year-old Daruwala revealed: "I studied around seven to eight hours a day after the prelims, taking tuitions in some subjects like physics, chemistry and maths to get a competitive edge. I plan to join the science stream. I want to become an engineer but I am not sure as to which stream of engineering I want to do.”
His mother mentions that among his hobbies are karate for which he trained under Vispy Kapadia, football and solving the Rubik cube. The youngster attained his black belt in karate over a year ago and is now working toward the second Dan. He is able to solve the Rubik puzzle in less than 30 seconds.
Daruwala will be joining the B. D. Somani School to pursue his International Baccalaureate after which he proposes to go to USA to do his undergraduate studies there, the email concludes.
