A good will

"As desired by the late Mr Keki Darabshah Dudhmal, resident of Poona and Yercud, in his will a sum of Rs 2,00,000 is to be given to” Parsiana, noted his younger brother Minoo in a letter dated February 25, 2014 accompanying the cheque. A long time subscriber to the magazine, Keki had served in the Reserve Bank of India since the age of 19 and with Industrial Development Bank of India until he retired as a senior general manager in 1989.
"He was on the board of many companies” and had spent most of his 84 years out of Bombay, noted Minoo. He died in Yercud, Tamil Nadu. Son of Darabshah and Khorshed, Keki studied at the Sir J. J. Fort Boys’ and Girls’ High School, did his BCom from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics and his MCom from R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics.
He bequeathed in his will money to several community institutions such as the B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital, Masina Hospital, Bai Sakerbai Dinshaw Petit Hospital and the World Zoroastrian Organisation. "He was a good man at heart,” recalled Minoo.
Keki is survived by his wife Sophie and stepson Farrokh.
