WZC follow-up

My family and I had attended the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress at the National Sports Club of India in December 2013. I would like to put on record my appreciation of the event and congratulate the trustees of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP), Dr Cyrus Poonawalla, Nadir Godrej, Maneck Davar, other members of the Organizing Committee and each and every one associated with the Congress for the tremendous effort, dedication and selfless service to the community around the world.
The grand event was a rare combination of enlightenment, entertainment and some thought-provoking religious discussions. This has definitely generated a lot of zeal and enthusiasm in the Parsi community by highlighting its achievements and contribution nationally and internationally.
This zeal must not be allowed to die out but should be effectively channeled. I suggest that the BPP and its cosponsors cooperate to organize various committees to take forward the dreams and aspirations of the community. These committees should start working on different projects and submit reports about their activities in the next World Zoroastrian Congress to be held in Singapore in 2017. This would be like corporatizing the events as in the minutes of every board meeting and presenting it at the annual general meeting. BOMI H. HANSOTIA
