Golden jubilee year

Is it really Parsiana’s golden jubilee year? The magazine certainly wears its years very youthfully. No one realizes the ups and downs it has seen, with all the acclaim, kudos, and a dose of brickbats that has fortunately not dented its image!
What is heartening is that even those who scream it is "biased” and a "mouthpiece for the reformists” blatantly borrow the magazine, muttering "joyié avay su navu lakhej (let’s see if something new is written in it).” This is a backhanded compliment!
A dedicated group of individuals, like-minded in temperament, working under an unfazed editor, brings out two issues a month of Parsi world news. Why do they do it? Let me say it in the words of Virgil: "They can because they think they can!”
Parsiana is now available on the internet, so the readership has increased manifold. I pray that the day is not far when this golden era will soon turn to diamond and then to infinity! The magazine is doing a massive job beautifully, for the Parsi community. Here are two lines I just read which seem specially penned for you: "The reason a see-saw has two seats is because that way there is always someone to bring you up when you go down.”
