Surrogacy for Parsis

With the decline of the demographic graph in our community, fellow members often make suggestions and offer opinions on how to increase the numbers. It is disheartening to know that young married couples with fertility problems often resort to adoption of non-Zoroastrian children. Film star Shah Rukh Khan’s family has opted for surrogacy to expand the family. Why can’t this method be adopted by aspiring Zoroastrian couples? Why can’t the Bombay Parsi Punchayet subsidize this method heavily so that couples are encouraged to increase the numbers in our community?
