The meeting in New Delhi was a follow-up to the IV Congress of Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan in May 2012 (see "For peace and harmony,” Events and Personalities, Parsiana, November 7, 2012). Kazakhstan has been organizing conferences on global peace, human rights and inter-religious dialog to foster goodwill among nations. A five-member delegation led by Dhalla had been invited to that conference where he presented two papers and was appointed as the sole representative of the Zoroastrian community worldwide. Dhalla has also been invited to Astana, capital of Kazakhstan come September next to participate in further deliberations, mentions the write-up.
