Marzban Dhanbhoora, RIP
Marzban Framroze Dhanbhoora who passed away on November 16, 2012 at age of 81, was known within and outside the Parsi community not only for the several social activities he chose to take upon himself, but also for the kindness, generosity and benevolence that was characteristic of him. He had a great sense of humor and his honesty spoke volumes of his integrity. His genial nature made it easy for people to like him and his traits made him extremely well respected throughout his life.

Marzban Dhanbhoora: genial nature
Always willing to help anyone in despair or distress, he extended graciousness to friends, family and even on occasion to complete strangers. Regardless of his connections or position, he was a wonderful, humble human being.
He was a trustee of the Bulsar (Valsad) Parsi Anjuman Trust Funds as his family was closely associated with that city. His father and grandfather were both presidents of the Bulsar Anjuman and his family was connected with the management and maintenance of Bulsar’s Mohta Shapur Dar-e-Meher. The family also built a dakhma in Bulsar.
Former managing director of W. H. Brady and Company, Dhanbhoora was president of the Parsi Gymkhana for 17 years. When he stepped down in September 2012, he was made the first chairman emeritus of the Gymkhana.
He was a man whose humility, grace and generosity will always inspire his family to carry on his legacy, to strive to be like him and to live life with the same charm and gusto that he always did.
