Tackling traffic offenders
I get very annoyed when I find vehicles parked indiscriminately on the road by people visiting places of worship, including fire temples. These "religious” people who have no consideration for others are causing artificial traffic congestion.
Yet, nothing happens to them because there is no policeman present to fine them or instruct them not to park badly. Though it’s a law and order problem, it shows lack of self-discipline. What is the remedy? I approach them directly and, instead of fighting with them, I ask: "Is this your car or scooter? Don’t you think that by parking like this you are inconveniencing innocent people? Do you really think that, after you have harassed so many people, God is going to grant your wishes? Do you think God is going to help you? All your efforts have gone in vain. Your visit to the temple has been negated.”
Just keep on repeating these words so that the offenders really begin to believe that their visit has been a waste. It works!
