With the recent revival of interest in monajats — which were formerly sung in every Parsi Zoroastrian family but were forgotten with the passage of time — Kotwal has done his bit to provide the community with access to this traditional form of song and music. On offer are 13 monajats including OKhuda Tu Ek Chhe, Atashni Monajat, Khudavind O Khavind, Pak Asho Jarthost Hamara and Nabiona Nabi Amar. Along with some of his own compositions, the CD contains favorite monajats of yore and will be a boon to lovers of the genre. The CD, priced at Rs 120, is available at the Faredoon and Burjor shop at Dhobi Talao, Zoroastrian Studies and M/s Edulji Rustomji Sukhadwala sandalwood shop near the Banaji Atash Behram. For further inquiries please contact Kotwal on his mobile: 9892110325.
