Battiwalla joined PepsiCo 15 years ago. He has been instrumental in marketing several beverage brands including Mountain Dew, 7Up, Tropicana, Aquafina, etc. In 2009, PepsiCo India, which has its headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana, became the first business in PepsiCo’s global operations to achieve "positive water balance.” Through direct seeding initiatives, the company replenished nearly six billion liters of water across India, exceeding the total intake of approximately five billion liters by its manufacturing facilities, a fact validated by Deloitte Consulting, states their website. Through water saving equipment and technologies, recycling and reuse, the company is now water positive by 8.3 billion liters!
