Recognizing valor

The theme of the XVI North American Zarathushti Congress in August 2012, hosted by the Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York and Iranian Zoroastrian Association is "Zarathushti Existence in the Contemporary World.” Among many facets of life, some of our Zarthushtis and their spouses have served or are currently serving in the US or Canadian armed forces. We would like to honor these individuals and their valor by displaying/projecting their pictures during the opening ceremony.

We request readers to reach out to family and friends to obtain pictures (in uniform) of their family members who are in the US or Canadian armed forces. We would also like to know their rank, division of the armed forces and number of "tours” they may have done at deployment.

We would very much appreciate if these pictures could be sent in jpg format to Mahrukh Cama: mahrukh@zagny.org or Shiroy Ranji: shiroy@zagny.org by May 15, 2012 the latest as we need to compile a presentation of the pictures received from all the Associations.
