Portraits of Parsis

There are many portraits of eminent Parsis in the halls of our places of worship such as atash behrams and agiaries. Many of these portraits do not have plaques affixed to identify the person.
I write to request the trustees of these institutions to identify all these eminent Parsis and affix suitable plaques to each frame with the name, dates of birth and death according to both the English and Parsi calendars. Frames that already have plaques affixed should be polished/painted at regular intervals so that they are readable.
If we do not do this now, future generations will not know who these illustrious Parsi Zarthoshtis were.
