Shameful action
I am appalled at the disgusting and shameful action taken by the chairman of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet and others in Sanjan towards a Russian Zoroastrian.
What right do certain sections of our community have to act against Zoroastrians from other countries? Parsis in India are not the only Zoroastrians in the world. Our community is considered a peaceful, enlightened and refined one but recent articles appearing in the media reflect badly on us.
I want to ask one question to these enlightened and know-all gentlemen and groups who are so against conversion. What did Zarathushtra do in Iran to convert and preach to non-Zoroastrians?
If there are people in other countries who choose to follow the Zoroastrian commandments who are the Parsis to question them and their beliefs? Meher Master-Moos should be congratulated for propagating and enlightening others in understanding the teachings of Zarathushtra.
