Girls of Avabai Petit High School with Marazban Mehta in the foreground and Dr Homi Dhalla in the background participating in "Desh ki Awaaz: Chanting for Peace” organized by the Wisdom Foundation (WF) on November 22, 2009 at Kala Ghoda, Bombay. The WF, a secular and democratic organization dedicated to the cause of non-violence, solidarity and communal harmony held the event as a tribute to those who had lost their lives during the terror attacks in the city on November 26, 2008. The songs, sung in various languages, proclaimed the message of peace. The project was initiated by Dhalla through the World Zarathushti Cultural Foundation. The Parsi students sang two monajats (devotional songs).
