Knowledgiate is 25

Knowledgiate, the annual magazine of the Dadar Athornan Institute has completed 25 years. The border and front cover of this issue (December 2009, 115 pages, price Rs 30; available at the Dadar Athornan Institute) has an attractive silver lining. Its contents are rich and varied, written by students and ex-students of the Institute. There are articles on religion, quotations, tips on how to improve health, environment, water conservation, astronomy, space, puzzles, sketches, drawings and poems.

For 25 years Ervad Cyrus Sidhva has edited Knowledgiate, encouraging students to write for it. Students have procured advertisements to help finance the publication of this unique magazine which would be of interest to the young as well as the elderly. Such efforts deserve encouragement from all sections of our community. MARZBAN GIARA
