Chhaiyé Hamé Zarathoshti

That stirring song, Chhaiyé Hamé Zara­thoshti, is sung with gusto at many Parsi social gatherings. Yet, we seem to know little about its composer.

Will Parsiana or any of your readers please enlighten me on the following: though the name given at the end of the song is "Firoze,” what is the composer’s full name? A brief life sketch of him would be appreciated. When was the song composed, when was it first publicly adopted/sung and by whom? Are there any other songs/compositions/poems written by "Firoze”?
