“Enhancing nursing”

It was with great interest that I read the article "Enhancing nursing” (Parsiana, February 7, 2008) by Arnavaz Mama.

As a member of the Billimoria family and also of the Red Cross I was invited to attend the opening of the nursing college building. Each time I visit Bel-Air I cannot help but notice obvious physical improvements and therefore thank those who have made this possible. Drs Rustomji and Bomi Billimoria would have been exceedingly proud to see these developments that not only benefit the locals, but also the state of Maharashtra and the nation. That Drs Mehroo and Minu Patel from the University of Illinois, Chicago facilitated the creation of a nursing college at Bel-Air and took the trouble to see it through exemplifies the adage that when one has been touched one also touches the lives of others. Needless to say, the developments are due to a concerted effort and team work by dedicated people with emotion, by which I mean energy in motion.
