“A gift of God”

Thank you for your factual documentation highlighting the Bel Air Hospital in the article "A gift of God” (Parsiana, February 7, 2007) and presenting its supporters in a positive light.

One clarification is necessary: The mentioned College of Nursing in Chicago is the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Nursing (CON). The distinction is important. Illinois has several state universities (10 or more) and at least four of these are called University of Illinois (each has its own autonomy). They are qualified by their location.

We are associated with the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Nursing and so is our endowment Fund "Minu K. and Mehroo M. Patel Endowment for Nursing Advancement in India” at University of Illinois Foundation (UIF). Nursing professionals from India visiting UIC-CON for furthering their education can avail of a grant under the specified conditions.
