In an e-mail forwarded to Parsiana by Edul Daver of AcuPowder, Saher says, "Initially I took it quite casually, not fully realizing what a huge opportunity had presented itself to me. It was only with each passing stage of preparing for the relay that the magnitude of the event got to me and of course, the actual experience was even more profound…I had heard of the spirit of the Olympic flame uniting the people of the world and I am glad to have experienced it when I was running with the Torch.”
