“Haurvatat is a flow”

I was delighted to read the piece "Haurvatat is a flow” (Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, April 7, 2008) about Alexander Bard, primarily because it not only referred to Zoroastrians in Sweden (a country I have exceedingly fond memories of having studied at Uppsala University), but because of the approach to Zoroastrianism described in the piece. The reference to Spinoza and Sufism is very interesting and certainly worth exploring.

Had I known there were as many as 2,000 Zoroastrians in Sweden, I would have made every attempt to contact them in the two-and-a-half years I lived there. If I could make contact even now, I would welcome it.
