“Eat drink and be Murree”

In the item "Eat drink and be Murree” (Business, Parsiana, February 21, 2007), you have quoted from a report in The Indian Express which claims that Minoo Bhandara is the only person in Pakistan to own a licenced brewery to produce whisky, gin, vodka and beer. This is not correct; some years back the Avari Group also set up a brewery in Karachi which manufactures whisky, rum and gin.

Incidentally, we tasted the famous Murree beer at, of all places, the Avari Lahore, a hotel owned by Byram Avari!
