Jolie’s cuddly co-star
Cradled lovingly in Angelina Jolie’s arms a content looking four-day-old Harvesp Chiniwala appears in an exclusive photo on the cover of the December issue of the international Star magazine published from the USA. The Parsi infant played Marianne and David Pearl’s newborn son Adam, now four, in the film A Mighty Heart. The scene featuring Adam’s birth a few months after his father had been murdered by terrorists in Pakistan, was shot at Bombay’s Breach Candy Hospital on November 16, 2006.
Harvesp’s parents, Viraf and Shavin, were approached for the shoot just as they were about to leave the hospital. "Initially I was reluctant,” the new dad told Star, "but then I was told that Angelina had given birth to her daughter some time back, so she knows how to handle a newly born baby.” As long as their doctor was present during the filming and no heavy lighting was used, Harvesp was allowed to make movie history.

Businessman Chiniwala, proprietor of Veldon Coats and fund raising chairman of Lions Club of Babulnath thought this a good opportunity to do some charity and asked the production coordinator how much she would pay. She asked him how much he expected and he said $ 2,000. She promptly agreed, reported The Times of India (November 18, 2006). The cheque, signed in favor of Bombay’s street children, became Harvesp’s first contribution to underprivileged children. Another cheque for Rs 10,000 which was received from Star was also donated similarly.
Chiniwala, 53, who is enjoying being a father again after a long hiatus, has a 25-yea
r-old daughter, Shazneen, a fashion designer. After the shoot, which lasted 20 minutes, Jolie exchanged pleasantries with the Chiniwala family and was presented with an outfit designed by Shazneen.
