Bandra’s Tata Agiary

As a Zoroastrian resident of Bandra for over 30 years I protest against the tremendous injustice planned against Tata Agiary on Hill Road, Bandra (west), with the municipal authorities issuing a notice to the Agiary to acquire 20 feet of compound including the front portico of the structure, especially since there is talk of a builder trying to get a passage for vehicular traffic through the Agiary property!

The same authorities who wish to usurp the land of our old well-established religious place have for decades been unable to even touch other places of worship such as the Muslim shrine located right in the middle of the main thoroughfare at Marine Lines (Dhobi Talao). Let alone taking it over, that structure has been allowed to expand!
