Cambay celebrates

Our Cambay Institute of Commerce, Surat, has completed 75 years of its fruitful existence. It was established on August 15, 1931 by my late father Naoshirwan Karanjia. We have decided to celebrate its platinum jubilee by arranging different educational and entertainment programs throughout the year. All ex-students are requested to send their name, address, phone no, designation, occupation and bio data for the souvenir to the undersigned at the following address: 12/723, Ratti Villa, Bhavnagari Street, Surat 395003, tel 2426497, mobile: 9824133010.

Till today we have educated thousands of students and they are adorning high positions in different walks of life in India and abroad. We coach students from Std IX to MCom, S.N.D.T. College students, Girls’ Polytechnic, etc. Gujarati Shorthand was introduced by my late father.

From its establishment till 2003 all Parsi Zoroastrian students were given free education with other deserving non-Parsi students. With the change in circumstances, from the year 2003 they all are given half freeship.
