“Groomed for success”

Please explain what "Grasim” Mr India means ("Groomed for success,” Parsiana, January 7, 2006). I tried to look it up in Chamber’s without success.

Our apologies for the confusion. The Mr India competition being sponsored by the reputed garment manufacturers, Grasim, the title conferred at the end of the event is "Grasim Mr India.”

Similarly for the glamorous Miss India pageant which is promoted by the business groups Ponds — Femina, the beauties earn the title of "Ponds-Femina Miss India.”
