Shapoorji Pallonji Biotech Park under development
The first specialized biotech park in Andhra Pradesh (AP) is being developed near Hyderabad by Shapoorji Pallonji Biotech Park Private Limited (SPBP). Covering 300 acres, it is being developed as a joint venture with the AP government. The Park already has 17 companies of which six are US based Research and Development units. With the government offering several fiscal benefits, investment by companies in the two phases is expected to be in the region of Rs 800 crore.
