“Make prayers vibrate”

In the September issue, Roda Hakim has commented on the vibrations of our prayers when they are well recited. This may be true. However, if one were to visit any agiary where the muktad prayers are held, or where different priests are praying for different people at the same time, instead of creating vibrations a discord results. Whilst one priest is reciting the Ashem Vohu, the other is reciting the Yatha Ahu Vairyo. One cannot create any vibrations in this type of atmosphere.
This is in marked contrast to a Christian church service where everyone sings or recites their prayer in unison with one voice, thus creating vibrations. But then, where did two Parsis ever say anything in unison?
