Third child guidelines

The third child assistance is given to parents whose third child is born on or after July 1, 1993.

To qualify for the scheme the beneficiaries should not have a total monthly income (of husband and wife) of more than Rs 30,000 per month. The assistance will, normally, be extended up to the child reaching the age of 18.

The final decision (for extending the assistance) will be at the discretion of the trustees.
