Ontario’s new association

The Ontario Zoroastrian Community Foundation (OZCF) was welcomed as FEZANA’s 24th member association. Its inaugural jashan and a dinner at a Mississauga banquet hall on May 20, drew a crowd of 375, notes the FEZANA Journal citing a report from the OZCF newsletter Vision. With Ervad Kobad Zarolia as president and Phil Sidhwa as vice president, OZCF’s immediate plan is to purchase five to 15 acres of land to build a house of worship and a community center, states the Journal, adding that with the launch of OZCF Toronto joins Los Angeles, San Jose and New York in having more than one Zoroastrian association in the city.
